Marquette’s Greek Life is a unique experience that can expand your horizons in many ways. Greek Life can provide you with the opportunities to meet new people, develop into a leader, excel academically, and be the difference at Marquette!
At Marquette there are five National Panhellenic sororities: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Pi Beta Phi, and Sigma Kappa. In addition to these five social sororities, Marquette also offers two multi-cultural sororities, Delta Xi Phi and Sigma Lambda Gamma, as well as a women’s engineering sorority, Alpha Omega Epsilon.
Marquette University implements a deferred recruitment policy. This means that first semester freshmen and transfer students with fewer than 12 credits may not participate in Greek Life at Marquette until their second semester or until they obtain 12 credits. Sorority recruitment is held two times throughout the school year: Informal recruitment in September and Formal recruitment in January.
****In order to participate in recruitment you MUST have a 2.5 Cumulative GPA.****
Our next Recruitment will be Informal Recruitment held in the Fall of 2010. For more information contact:
